Christmas Nails

Some say diamonds are a girl’s best friends, but Lolita says nail polishes are a girl’s best friends. Not to mention the little nail tricks that will make your nails look professional and elegant.

Take a look at a few tips and tricks to make your nails perfect in winter.

Christmas themed nails

Snow flakes

Snow flakes are so easy to make and they look amazing, even on shorter nails.

You can put snow flakes on just 1 nail or you can add them on all your nails like in the pictures below.

Add a little sparkle after you’ve made the snow flakes, to make them pop even more.

Christmas trees

large (20)

This is a pattern of less complicated Christmas trees (it’s basically just a triangle).

Then you can add sparkles and glittery pebbles.

Don’t forget to put the golden star on top of your miniature Christmas trees.

large (21)

This is a little bit more complicated and the Christmas trees will be more abstract, but it is a nice and unique idea.

large (53)

For a more detailed pattern add a little bit of snow (white nail polish) beneath the trees and on their branches. The background can be plain (transparent nail polish) or glittery (like in the picture above).

large (55)

If you really want to be sophisticated, choose a pattern like the one above. It is harder to make and you will probably need a stencil, but it is totally worth it.

Santa Claus Nails

For a playful manicure this season, pick Santa! It’s relatively easy to make and it can really make an impression at the Christmas party.

Rudolph and snow-men

large (26)

Snow-men are easy and fun to make, so why not wear them on your nails? Add a few snow flakes and a light blue background and you are ready to party.

large (47)

Who would have thought that snow men can be classy and elegant? But, as you can see, if you use a glittery background and sophisticated snow flakes, the snow men start to look more like snow gentlemen. Which is perfect if you want to appear elegant but still feel the Christmas joy.

Who doesn’t like Rudolph? Especially when he looks so cute on your nails :).

large (40)

The pattern above is beautiful and interesting, but you will need a stencil to make it.

Other Christmas Patterns

Yay for Mr. Gingerbread! It could sweeten up anybody’s day.

large (27)

Or you can keep it simple and elegant with some mistletoe.

large (39)

Snowflakes or mistletoe….or maybe rain-deers? Why not all of them? Still, you will need a stencil, because the pattern is pretty complicated. (The same goes for the picture below).

If you really have time for your manicure, go for this unique pattern and try to glue a piece of string on your nails (this will be the Christmas lights’ cord).

Then, add rhinestones (make sure they are glued well) and a coat of transparent nail polish.

The end result should look like in the picture below.
